Prescription Assistance Program Offered
Jan 2008 - Design Benefits has added to their portfolio of health care related services by offering a prescription assistance program. This program is available nationwide to individuals and their families who need maintenance medications but are unable to afford them.
Prescription Assistance Programs (PAPs) provide free or low cost prescription medicine to people who are uninsured or under-insured and meet income guidelines. These programs are sponsored by the pharmaceutical companies who manufacture the medicine and are not to be confused with prescription discount services such as Together Rx Access.
Unlike other programs, the Design Benefits MedPro program actually assists the individual with the application process and provides the necessary patient advocacy that are a requirement of some PAPs.
Wellness Program Now Available
Aug 2007 - Design Benefits is pleased to announce the availability of a national interactive online wellness program to employers and organizations. Corporate health and wellness programs are becoming an integral part in managing escalating health care costs to slow or prevent the growth of an unhealthy employee population.
Wellness programs have shown impressive returns and remarkable results. Health care costs for companies and organizations that offer Wellness programs are significantly reduced.
Web Development and Intranet Services
This division offers web site design, existing site redesigns, corporate electronic newsletter design, computer and internet strategy consultation, e-commerce assistance, visitor traffic studies, content management solutions, computer technical support, database programming, ASP.NET upgrades, and more.
We use a combination of the following tools and technologies to build web sites:
- ASP.NET 2.0. Much faster than classic ASP, ASP.NET can dramatically improve the performance and quality of our customer’s dynamic web applications.
- XHTML 1.0 Strict and XHTML 1.1 is used for Web Standards compliant code on all pages. Our web applications are built to adhere to current Web Standards and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
- Cascading Style Sheets Level 2 is used to control all aspects of document presentation. Tables are used for their original purpose only: that is, displaying tabular data and not for presentation or page layout purposes.
- SQL Server 2005 databases are used to manage the content. SQL Server 2005 delivers a highly secure and reliable backend system to manage mission-critical data.
By using a combination of these, as well as other technologies such as AJAX, we are firmly positioned to provide our customers with high quality, dependable, and fast-loading web and software applications.
